From Supply and Demand
Vivienne Westwood was the clothing designer for the Sex Pistols and co-owner of the shop SEX with Malcolm McLaren, the Sex Pistols' manager. She came up with all the outfits for the band, and essentially created the fashion look that defines punk to this day. Unlike most of the people from the first wave of punk who burned bright and fizzled fast, she is still a successful designer and her work has taken many forms over the years. I should also note that my daughter is named after her.
