I’m illustrating some of my favorite street spots from over the years to be included in the LA MOCA “Art In The Streets” show, so I decided to make prints of some of my favorites. Hey guys, that lackey was actually me. That is my silhouette. If you want, I'd be happy to sign these when you pick one up. I'll also splash some pink paint on it (so you have a 1-of-a-kind), and put my thumb print on the back.

Silhouette ruins it.

Refreshing to see something different but im not feeling it personally. I think its the composition. Might grow on me though.

First one since POW(ER) that I have wanted. Definitely going for this.

finally, first print i will go for this year! Wish it didnt have the silhouette but i still think it looks good overall!

Love it. Old school and fresh at the same time. Tasty.

my only complaints would be:
1) i wish images like this were done more like photos instead of converting to vector which gives a clip art look/feel
2) i think it would pop a lot more with a third color (like gold)

both of those reasons are why i love the urban renewal series so much. great colors and overall a much more raw feeling with much more detail since weren't converted to vector (which just slick and too clean). for example, take a look at the leaves in the bottom right of this print... no detail and look like it was just run through live trace. now compare that to any of the urban renewal prints.

with that said, i do really like this i just wished it was more photo looking than clip art looking.

But I will add that this print is much less detailed and refined (?) than the images in the original Urban Renewal series. When you look at them side by side, it packs less punch.

Wait until you see the rest! The series is awesome
