Didn't want to clog up the Ministry of Information or Deitch MayDay threads since not directly related.
Shepard and the crew put up three murals in Philly today. Got to see the third one go up, hang out and watch the awesome process. Shepard was super cool and freely chatted with the 10 or so people there (most from the shop whose spot it was).

when they did the 5 minute radio spot on NPR (WHYY) yesterday I was suprised they didn't mention the May Day show.

it seems to me that to call an achieved work 'good art' and an unachieved work 'bad art,' is like calling one color 'good red' and another 'bad red' when the second one is green.

My buddy just lead me to an ICON on 2nd street at Laurel (one block north of Poplar and the Standard Tap)

Sharp, unforgivingly stark, much more raw. Totally agree these are better than the one or two from NYC -- not WAY better, but slightly more awesome
