Can we please start an official sticker database? It would help for collecting and figuring out when things were made and such. Thanks,

dan

if this is the wrong place for this thread please move.

thanks admonkey! That would be cool, I'd like to help contribute. I am getting a shipment of some very old stickers today.

I have been going over the sticker posts the last few days and I think that having that singular large "buy/sell/trade/browse/share" thread in the FS/FT forum does not do the concept of stickers justice. I like the continuous FS/FT being in a thread like that, but it doesn't work well for people just sharing. Perhaps if we don't do a wiki maybe we can make a sticky where people post shots of single stickers, no group shots. The only comments allowed can be information about the stickers, and no repeats. I saw easycraig's comments in the thread about never really checking it out and it led me to think that Obey sticker history deserves a better platform.

my $.02

Before familial responsibilities stepped up a notch, I was going to develop a few new databases:

stickers
vintage t-shirts
ephemera
fakes/bootlegs
expanded skateboard db

would still like to get to them one day but things are too hectic right now. glad I was able to polish off as much of the fine art database as I did when i did.

Do we have any idea how big the sticker database would end up being?? There are so many variations of each one! It would end up being pretty extensive. But I think it would be cool for sure. Skateboards would be sick as well.
