Jeremy Geddes
I discovered Jeremy's artwork yesterday, he is pretty masterful with oils.
it seems to me that to call an achieved work 'good art' and an unachieved work 'bad art,' is like calling one color 'good red' and another 'bad red' when the second one is green.

I'd have to say I like this image the best
Very nice art work, I think I might purchase one. Thanks for the heads up creestofer.

I used to own this piece...quite large (40" x 53" or so, if I remember correctly). Very impressive in person.hjhmsp4life wrote:I'd have to say I like this image the best

Re:
Perhaps not in this case. The "dark" pieces you are referring to were done for a horror comics anthology called, "Doomed". Work for hire.toobs wrote:artist have some dark demons these days
The bridge/astronaut/urban environment pieces are more his personal style.

This has got to be a first that one of his prints sold out in a matter of hours.
I couldn't resist.

Re: Jeremy Geddes
Not downplaying the quality of his work but I think the EB board had a lot to do with the fact that it sold out so fast. Geddes appears to be the next "big thing" over there and people are gaga over him right now. He is very talented and deserves the success, don't get me wrong, but there may be a bit of herd mentality at the moment too. Also, I don't think there was a limit and I would expect many speculators to begin trying to flip them in the next few weeks.toyroom wrote:This has got to be a first that one of his prints sold out in a matter of hours.

That said, I bought one.

Amazing work. Picked up The Cafe before it sold out. Would have regretted it otherwise.
