I messaged the seller and they just threw it up to see if they could get that much. They’re not super keen on selling for less.

I second that, would not go lower than 4k and even not sure that he'd go at that price....

I picked up one for $2150 a couple years back off eBay. Silver variant....outside of a slight ding in the top right corner it is perfect. I doubt anyone would pay more than $3k for the one currently listed.

Yup. I'd do in the neighborhood of $2k for this. Any more and I'd rather put it towards a fine art piece.

I'd guess you would need to be in the mid 2's if it were an auction. At $2k BIN I'd guess it would be gone quickly. It is a great image.

Yeah it was the metropark gift I think. I should have bought it and either drove down or got my buddy to grab it for me. Oh well

Thanks, but I plan to hold onto this.
I suspect this might be Fairey's first hand pulled large format screen print?
Anyone have any insight?

They initially listed it at $300 and I bought it. They canceled my order an hour later and claimed they accidentally listed it without their son’s permission but would contact me first if they ever chose to sell it. And now they list it again without getting in touch. Sigh. That’s life, but I’m still bitter about it.

I saw that one. I'd bet whoever bought it at $1k is the one that sent a message and screwed you. Definitely leave bad feedback.
So how much is this one actually worth. Super rare. I'd think at least $4k

I initially thought of that but no good has ever come from me getting into eBay disputes.
I wanted to keep a line open in case they listed something else from the same period. Maybe I’m naive, or not aggressive enough for eBay.
