Thinking about buying it. Hoping they can pack and ship prints like OG.

I bought two of these prints. The prints were shipped by JDRF-Los Angeles Chapter. They came in a thin-walled white tube which was crushed by UPS. The prints were inserted and rolled in a large envelope (larger than the prints). I'm currently sorting out the damaged prints with UPS. I emailed JDRF about the situation and this was their response:

"I conveyed the message to our Los Angeles chapter who are shipping the posters from their office and they will now be shipping the posters in the UPS tube container which we feel is much stronger than the tube you received. If you repurchase the posters we will make sure the posters are in the UPS tubes."

I didn't inquire about replacement prints. I decided not to repurchase either.

Got mine today. The good news is that the tube was fine. The bad news is that someone thought it was a great idea to roll it up the long ways and pack the print in the tube with no kraft paper.



Unfortunately, the print suffered some roll creases and a little edge damage. Which is a shame since the print actually looks great. I've got some books on it and hopefully it flattens out. Looks like a mint one of these is going to be a rare thing. Since it's a charity, I'm not asking for a refund, but I am definitely not happy.

It was a thin white tube. The print was not wrapped and taped so the print unrolled and expanded so it was touching the tube wall. I was lucky because my tube came intact, but having the print pushing against the tube wall made it difficult to remove from the tube.

Every time Obey sells a print to a third party they should give a lesson on how to wrap and ship prints.

I agree. It seems like every time there is a print for a fundraiser, many of them get damaged in the shipping process. It probably doesn't help the organization as much when they have to deal with the replacements, extra shipping, and refunds. An illustrated diagram on the correct way to safely package a print wouldn't be that difficult to create. Ah well, 2 cents and that.

Just got mine. Arrived in a triangle tube. The print was rolled up in kraft paper in the original cheapo white tube. Print arrive in great shape.
