unfortunately for me it's hard to get excited over any prints knowing they are practically impossible to get (on the first day) that is. I haven't seen the sales screen since Peace Goddess.

I know terrorists gave their lives just like the victimes, but to side with them? That's low. If it's commemorating the victims who died, I can get on board with that--just not terrorists.
What does everyone think?

Are you saying there's an implied connection?
Pudding can't fill the emptiness inside me! But it'll help.

people are rusty with their Lebowski:
Walter Sobchak: Those rich frankfurter! This whole frankfurter thing... I did not watch my buddies die face down in the muck so that this frankfurter strumpet...
The Dude: I don't see any connection to Vietnam, Walter.
Walter Sobchak: Well, there isn't a literal connection, Dude.
The Dude: Walter, face it, there isn't any connection.

Now, if guys woulda listened in to Jonesy's Jukebox last Saturday night, you woulda caught BOTH a sneaky 'Big Lebowski' reference and a 'Spinal Tap' reference. hehehe

Ah haha. That's marvelous.
Uh, I'm just gonna go find a cash machine.

Anyway, I think it's just a twist on the old saying. The saying usually means something is awesome, "to die for." But here I think we're suppose to take the message quite literally, that the skies (or the environment in general) is worth fighting for, and even dying for. It's durn near a call to arms!admonkey wrote:T.C.z. wrote:OK, wait a second. Someone answer this definitively... Strike TWO. It's not at all telling us that the skies are worth fighting and dying for--it's suggesting that pollutants will kill both us and the environment. "These sunsets are to die for," is meant in the literal sense that the pollution kills.Autodactyl wrote:But here I think we're suppose to take the message quite literally, that the skies (or the environment in general) is worth fighting for, and even dying for. I once knew a guy exactly like you, but he died in a not-so-tragic boating accident.
