Covert to overt is a pretty apt title since many of the older prints left the message to be inferred while many recent prints spell out the message, sometimes twice.

Just in case anyone wants to take the cheap way out on this one...Covert to Overt is available on Barnes & Noble as well. I just picked up a copy for $34.73 with my B&N membership which includes free expedited 2 day shipping. http://www.barnesandnoble.com/w/covert- ... 0847846214
Of course it's not signed by the man himself. However, I read the books I buy so they get some wear and tear. Because of that, I don't need a pristine signed copy to put on a shelf and never crack the cover open.

i didn't think $15 to the east coast isn't much to shipping, handling and shipping supplies a book considering the weight. h3ll, that's what they charge to ship a piece of paper rolled in a tube.

Even if you read the book (god forbid), a signed copy is the only way to go IMO. I mean, how many opportunities do you have to get a signed book by an artist/author you love, direct from source, with no mark up?

I collect signed artist books and all my other obey books are signed (I think I have every one he released) so it was a no brainer to get it directly from Shepard.

I've got mine via Amazon today , would have loved to have supported the artist and ploughed the bulk of the profit back into the source but at $70 postage to the UK against it being free postage from Amazon it was a no brainer for me, there's only so much of the ridiculously expensive postage costs from Obey to us European fans can be expected to continuously bear.

Same here Ramone, even if I took two books the shipping wouldn't relate to cost of the books. 100 on the books and 70 shipping, let alone just 1 book. Toooo bad....

Here you go Dutch guys....

Unless a signed copy is imperative to you , get it from Amazon.

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Obey-Covert-Ove ... ard+fairey

Currently £32 , free postage within the UK .....and I don't think it's much more for overseas(?)

You can even buy it "used" (just how "used" can a just released book be??) for £22 from secondary sellers on there.

It's a shame Obey HQ can't sort themselves out in regards postage costs , they would then pocket the full profits to be made , rather than having to share them with the likes of Amazon.

Looks like you have a warm up piece for the large canvas that is the cover.

Very cool.
