Why does that watch face only have 8 hours on it? I like the simplistic design and solid colors, despite thinking that oil logo is not as good as shep thinks it is and is getting tired at this point, but missing FOUR hours on the watch face is a HUGE oversight.

I once had a SWATCH watch that was missing all 12 hours on the watch face. Somehow though it still worked and i was able to tell the time just fine, though I was still always late to school.
This design is kinda like a swatch watch. Simple, clean, functional as well as a piece of art all at the same time.

I think it's by design as well. I would never bother to look at how many minutes or hours
are on the watch. It's a watch and that tells the story.
