I disagree. Like jjtdw said, the signature only adds legitimacy. I wouldn't consider a 90's print that has a new sig the same value as one with an original 90's sig. The only exceptions are those items that were never signed like AG/OK Soda, postcards, etc.

Ok fellas. Patience is virtue. I'm gonna put my efforts on getting this signed. John Goff who produced this with Shep even recommended. It's a must. Only thing is taking this to a gallery opening will be a pain. Gotta work out some tactics.

hope the link works. JJTTW and UNIONEIGHTEEN thanx. i read about the print getting 1/8 to 1/4 inch wider. another concern was acidity of paper eating inks down the line? Poster mountain washes prints and the gelatin sound to make the print more ridgid. but if the scuffs aint going away, then i aint sure. The are the kind of scuffs you can only see from an angle or bright light. Think i should jus frame the bad boy up true to its personality. hmmm....

The physical laws of our natural world probably contributed to that poster getting scuffed in some self-referential poetic way.

They might fetch $2k if they were pristine. I argee...I'd be a buyer at $300...not much more. Its not like being dry mounted is the only problem with the prints.

Just curious if this one has the old signature or one of the later, can't really tell by the pics.

The signature is definitely authentic but post 2008. Mine has the old school signature and is dated 97. Such a great print.

I saw it as well. Was up for a little bit, I contemplated for a little while, went back and it was still there... Then checked a couple minutes later and it sold.

Yeah, I caught it within a few mins of going up. Paced around trying to justify the possible purchase in my head, then decided to walk away...

Not everyone has $1200 to spend on a whim, so it's not insane people saw and didn't bite.

Glad I didn't see it, it would've hurt so good.
