That's only part of the story.... Take the long walk down the road of the Peace Bomber thread.

Yeah.... what was that like a 125 page thread for a fairly middle of the road release..... Ahh the good ole days....
Wasn't that the "backdoor" release that a bunch of people got refunded on? Good old days.
Yeah that's it. We were then banned from going for it again after we got refunded.
True fans wouldn't do that don't you know?
Funny thing is, everyone was using the backdoor method before that release.
Think they changed it after the peace bomber debacle.

Back when there truly was a platinum club. I came in around the time where you could still see how many prints were still available but right after the peace bomber debacle.

I think the platinum club was honestly just several of us keeping each other in the loop on the latest ways to beat the system and snag prints. However, the running joke has been around for at least 6-7 years now and I can't tell you how many people think/thought its legitimate.

Or am I just trying to throw you off the trail to the elusive club?

Anyone who knew how to get a print through the backdoor prior to being found out with the peace bomber drop were in a platinum club IMO.

The thing that really surprises me about the peace bomber drop was how many people stuck with it when it could have been picked up for $100-150 in the following weeks. I would have given up...much like I did on Pattern of Corruption. For Pattern, I thought I could pick a set up for 2x cost when I gave up. If it drops into that neighborhood then I may scratch the itch.
