Faile & Shipping Time

Post by JTK »

I ordered a print from Faile on August 18. I was told that it actually shipped, via priority mail, on September 7, but I still haven’t received it. Faile already offered to refund or replace the print with another piece. Unfortunately, the print I ordered has since sold out.
My question is whether or not I should wait a little longer in the hopes of getting the print I want. I've always been lucky with my mail, so I'm not sure how unusual this long ship time is. Faile also said that there is a small chance that it went out regular mail.
By the way, I'm not bashing Faile at all! They have been really good so far in responding to all of my nervous and incessant emails!
Thoughts are welcome!!

Right! I'm in Los Angeles, and the post office says 7 days for regular mail.

I'm in LA and my faile prints usually arrive within a week or two depending on if they're at the office when i order or out traveling the globe....might want to ask patrick to hold onto the one you want to replace it with but wait till the end of the week to see if the other arrives?

I live in London and usually get my Faile prints within ten days...

On a similar topic though. I ordered the Obey Godfather prints in those two frantic days when they reappeared, but still haven't heard anything (apart from the initial email acknowledgement). Anyone know anything more?

Do you have the email address from that confirmation?

Thanks.

No, it was a ship confirmation from Paypal with UPS tracking info.

I agree, I've been scared off a couple of Failes because of the size. I don't own that one so I can't comment. The Red Nixon and Mao Dog prints are the only ones I've ever seen that were strait up screen prints. All the other ones I've ever bought have had so much hand detailing/painting that they are unique pieces of art, in my opinion.
