CAC ArtsWave Award March 29. New print

Shepard awarded ArtsWave prize at CAC. Creating a new print for the awards ceremony. Anyone that can hook me up with one, PM and I can send money- assuming I like the print when they release the image.

Fairey will come to Cincinnati’s Contemporary Arts Center March 29 to receive the award at a members-only party. A new limited-edition Fairey print will be available for purchase at the CAC event and will eventually go on sale to the public.

Didn't they already release the canvas cac print? Believe it was sold after the opening/original print

Yeah it's listed as sold out on the site and i was in there the other day and told me it was gone. I thought maybe they would just offer it up again but now that i looked at the original post again it looks like it will be a new one. I'm not a member down at the CAC anymore so i guess i'll have to stick to the online release when it happens.

I'm loving Shep's coat in the picture. He looks a bit cold though. Those warm SoCal winters must have made him a bit soft.

Cool that makes sense since it's a mural inside the building...i would assume these drop online this weekend on their webpage store perhaps if they have any leftovers from the private event. It would be nice if it's a canvas print since the last one they release had one.

Eat the Rich is the new print from Shepard Fairey to benefit the CAC.
 
Based on Fairey's 20' tall mural in the CAC lobby of punk icon and artist Patti Smith, the print is a limited edition of 550 and will retail for $50.

Just called and ordered mine today. Public orders started at 2pm today. Not sure how many are left. They seemed to be getting a lot of phone calls. $50 + $10 shipping.

Call 513.345.8400 and just wait through all the info and it will route you to a live person. They will get your info and then get you over to someone in the store. If you call the Store number it will probably send you to VM like it did me the first time.
