Old Chub is great! Optimator spaten is the perfect beer though.

if you like ipa's you will not be disappointed. its one of the best. also because its bottle conditioned be sure to:
1) decant leaving the bit of sediment behind and 2) drink it now, as the shelf life on bells in general is not very long. keep in the fridge.

Hands down, Sierra Nevada Summerfest is my favorite beer. I usually stock up during the summer
because in Southern California it makes for a good Winter beer.

I've been drinking Hoegaarden lately also, but I think that is mostly because I like saying the name.

Anything from Oskar Blues is really good. Drinking a DPA right now. Usually get Old Chub, but that stuff is blackout juice if you're not careful.

I wasn't expecting much and actually thought it might be sweeter. I think it grew on me as I went on. If you paired it with a salty pork I think it could work real well, but on its own its not something I could drink often.

I've been on a Pretty Things kick as well (not sure if they are available outside of Mass.). I like the St. Botolphs brown ale and the Babayaga Stout. http://www.prettythingsbeertoday.com/wp/

Local brewery Four Peaks making some waves. The Sunbru and Hop Knot are my wife and I's usual choices.
