you gotta hit refresh if you feel like submit is taking to long. if you wait for something to happen, you'll just time out and miss out on the print.

I did both. Had two going at the same time. Refreshed one, let the other ride and still no success on the Black. Scored Red easily.

Do you think Obeygiant.com is being affected by software that others may be using to buy prints the second they drop? I've heard of people using robo-software to buy up lots of concert tickets so that they can scalp them. Could that be slowing the site down and causing it to crash, etc?

Or am I thinking too big here?

Scored red, went back in for black and it said I had ordered the maximum even though it wasn't the same colour. Grateful to have got one though.

I was almost ready to give up.. thinking I should have ordered both prints in separate transactions. Of course it was my original "submit order" page was the one that finished the transaction for me. Thanks goodness I kept that page flowing.

I've been consistently shut out the past 5 or so drops as well. Always make it to paypal, sometimes make it back to obey, never gets processed. Always a bridesmaid, never a bride.

I think the problem is more too many people clicking refresh 10 times a second or using things like check for change, etc that also spam the site with requests. Once it starts getting several hundred hits a second its going to start slowing down, depending of course on their provider, the hosting package they have, dedicated or shared hosting, etc.
