Totally :). I want to pinch those cheeks and I'm not even a grandma.

See I like a red frame on this.

Finally, got my pink kitty. Tube was thin and sketchy but it arrived safely

There is still hope for people who were further down the list.
I just got an email from Roger saying an invoice for Pink was coming my way.
I had lost all hope after it being this long since the print dropped.. this is great news.

We went with bright colored frame since our little girl's room needs some color.

Though truth be told, at this point the baby is more interested in this artwork on her wall ...

Glad your Pink HK arrived safely, despite the dodgy tube.

WOW! I paid for a pink Hello Kitty 2 days ago, and it just showed up on my doorstep. Now I can't decided which colorway I like better having them side by side! Unbelievable customer service by Roger Gastman, I can't get over how fast this one arrived. From the pictures I didn't so much care for the pink, but it really pops in person.

Pink Kitty arrived safe and sound today.. I don't know what type of "sketchy" tube people were talking about,
I was thinking the triangle tube or something like Joey Ramone Red..
This was nothing like that.. mine was just a normal tube, rolled nicely and packed with tissue paper on the ends.

My daughter loves it.

The Pink Kitty I received was in a much better tube than the Red Kitty I got. The Red Kitty came in a super-sketchy tube, and I felt lucky to have not been affected by damage... seems like they got things figured out, and started using better tubes when they sent out the Pink Kitty prints.

According to Ebeans at least 42 of the red have been re-sold and 17 pink, so that's one way. Two is overkill and makes me feel greedy, but I really wanted at least one of the two and ended up with both.

I didn't make the initial cut for the red, but got lucky and made the nice list for the pink. While waiting to get confirmation for the pink I got lucky again and got an order through when Black Book Gallery sold a few red at a very reasonable price.

I only just received the red (thank you very much Black Book Gallery for getting it through the 5000+ mile journey intact) and I think I like it slightly more than the pink. It is a bit bolder and more colorful. However, the pink is more true to form since it is pink, so I can definitely see why some would prefer it.

I got the red in person in Miami and got the pink via the e-mail system.

What pisses me off is that people like me who submitted an email early during the request period were shafted on the red and pink. Pure bull$garbage!

not true. there are those who got a pink from the source (through email) and then purchased the red in miami, from blackbook or from ebay.

not everyone is out to cheat the system.

but that's not the only way. if you were in miami you had a chance to get as many red versions as you wanted.

Agreed. Love Quik's original works on NYC maps, and this one is perfect (and cool) for her room.
