JR
women are heroes!
this has blown me away.
I first saw a picture of his work in Trespass-History of uncommisioned urban art. It was the one picture that stood out for me initially.
does anyone know about this?
Just in case you have not heard there is a film being released next week.

Re: JR
sas- the complex contest is what tipped me off. I have to admit I have only looked at the pics in the trespass book, lame but true, then I saw the complex list and had to do a bit of looking. I had thought it had happened way in the past. woostercollective did a post in 08 and their first video is the best I've seen so far about the project

glad you guys also thought this was amazing. let me know what you discover.

Re: JR
JR always was & always will be one of my favorite artists. beside his art & most influantial projects he was the reason for meeting my "woman" hero. i will always be thankful for him & his crew!
trying to pull a colab release between him & shep for this year so stay tuned...
dan, you talking about the one on the upper right, right?
these are my jr prints while i was arranging the hanging layout:
drop me a PM if anyones looking for prints, maybe i can help out...

I love JR, always wanted the Favela print.
Ideabola, that JR shep colab sounds very interesting.

Re: JR
Some might be also interested in picking up this Arkitip with JR. To avoid confusion the consensus seems to be every magazine comes with the same two photographs.
