The biggest thing at stake is Shepard's credibility. By lying, he has put that at risk. Every time he steps up to support a cause like alternative energy for example, his opponents will bring this up. Using the photo was one thing, but the lying was a big mistake.

I need one of these for my office. The additives my company sell into the coatings and bonding paste for wind mills is about the only thing keeping us afloat at the moment.
