Re: Shepard Fairey Paints Neil Youngs New Songs

How can the source be unidentifiable?!All you need is a computer and google. The original photo here is titled "Weeki Wachee Springs" by photographer Toni Frissell. All Shepard needs is 5 minutes of his time in front of the computer to avoid another lawsuit.

Get a bag of beans from Costco. Grind them up and brew a cup yourself. Much less than .99 a cup.

to me, art is not about winning a reality show on tv In principle, YES. In reality, if you are making a living from your art, I don't think this is a bad idea. Re: Show us your original art!

Yeah, Tony's works are fantastic in the flesh. He captures the essence of the original photo with his sprays. Color transition between layers is seemless. Collage background is beautifully done. The best part is that his works are extremely affordable and he really is the nicest guy to work with. I ...

Re: OFFICIAL Ali Anticipation thread! 5/13/10!

I have not been able to get a print with the image that I like for awhile now. I don't really want to keep spending $200 on average to buy from flippers. I think my days of collecting Shep's prints are officially done. Very discouraging :| If you are interested in some older prints, hit me up and I ...

Re: Soup Can Set on ebay

There are a lot of factors that, in my mind and at $4k, the matched set simply doesn't rise to meet. Maybe some time in the future. But I don't think this set is worth $4k at the moment, except for those speculists and obsessionists. Also, I find NO confusions between prints and fine art in this th...
