This image is based on the cover art for Joan Jett and the Blackhearts' 1982 single "I Love Rock and Roll."

From Supply and Demand, pg. 293:
Joan Jett is really a bad-ass woman. She never tried to play the role of demure sex kitten. She has always been more like one of the guys, not just some rock groupie. Not only does she sing and play guitar, she co-owns a record label and acts in movies and on Broadway. She also has produced various punk albums, including the Germs’ one and only record. Joan Jett and the Blackhearts’ “I Love Rock N’ Roll” was the third record I ever bought with my own money, and I still love that record to this day.
